I dedicate Studio Dionysius, to my mother K. Denise
Deriving from the Greek word ‘Dionysius’ (meaning creativity), is homage to the woman whom I look up to the most in this world! It is she who taught me that being creative comes with the patience and the courage to put yourself out there and take a chance because the worst anyone can say is “no”.
Without that instilled bravery and creative “genetics”, I would not be in this field!
I’m a South Florida native with a deep passion for the elegance of well-designed spaces. My journey into interior design started during the pandemic when, after being laid off from my job as a concierge at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota, I took the initiative to reach out to a local designer for a chance to learn on-site. That leap of faith led me to Emily Moss Designs, where I transitioned from shadowing to becoming a full-time intern while studying AutoCAD at a local college.
This drive paid off when I was offered a Junior Designer role, where I helped create luxury interiors for multi-million dollar coastal properties in Anna Maria Island, FL. From concept to final photoshoot, I was part of the full design process, honing my skills and expanding my knowledge of coastal, contemporary, and modern design.
In August 2023, I took the leap and moved to New York to follow my dream of designing interiors in the city. Now, as a Junior Project Manager & Designer at a Brooklyn-based firm, I specialize in residential renovations across Brooklyn and New Jersey, with a focus on kitchens and bathrooms. I’m dedicated to crafting meaningful spaces and navigating the challenges of the design and construction process to create homes that last a lifetime.
